More rumors to dig through

More rumors to dig threw …. I had a few people talk about some kind of killer they called the “hillside strangler” they thought could be connected to the case back in 1981 … has anyone heard of that killer ?

I got so busy giving someone a hard time … I almost forgot about this rumor

There is one more that I haven’t talked about yet because , I have been waiting for just a few answers from Craig that he seems to dodge …. And it was about a prominent Son … that isn’t Craig … unless he changed his name …..then that would make things a bit intrusting

David,

I believe the "hillside stranglers" were actually 2 guys, Angelo Buono and Kenneth Bianchi, who fancied themselves "cousins." They were from the Los Angeles area and they were responsible for many murders of young women. I believe they were apprehended well before April 11, 1981.

It looks like Keddie murders where over shadowed by the trial of the “hillside stranger”

“In October 1977, Los Angeles police found the body of a naked woman, who'd been raped and murdered and left on a hillside. By February 1978, the count had risen to 10 and the media was calling the killer "The Hillside Strangler." It turned out to be one of the most notorious, publicized, and terrifying cases in Los Angeles history.
Police later captured two cousins: Kenneth Bianchi and Angelo Buono."

"By late 1981 the trial finally began in Los Angeles. It was one of the longest trials on record: two years and two days. Bianchi was on the stand for six months, giving confusing and contradictory testimony. He eventually pleaded guilty to five of the Los Angeles murders, while Buono was found guilty on nine out of ten. Buono is serving life without parole in California. Bianchi is serving his life sentence in the Washington State penitentiary at Walla Walla. “

huh
tell us where ya going with this all
thanks “

I don’t think that the family or the boys would have been apart of a rip off … it just dose feel right 2 me…
So will you feel us in on the details so that we could judge it for our self’s

I can see the boys getting in trouble over their mouth …. I just cant see how two young guys could bring that kind of trouble home , it just doesn’t sit well with me with the small facts I have to go on.

You seem to be the only one “left” singing that tune of a rip off …… everyone else who has something like that didn’t stick around … so how can you believe them?

Could it be that most people felt someone did the crime , was also a drug dealer and that’s how they make since of such a brutal crime??? The easiest path isn’t always the correct path … I wish it could be at times…

These buddies are your long lost buddies who died tragically at the hands of murders who got away with the crimes … I have seen you describe your bike better , its sad to say…….

I was thinking AlphaVille … Forever young-

Let’s dance in style, lets dance for a while
Heaven can wait we’re only watching the skies
Hoping for the best but expecting the worst
Are you going to drop the bomb or not?

Let us die young or let us live forever
We don’t have the power but we never say never
Sitting in a sandpit, life is a short trip
The music’s for the sad men

Can you imagine when this race is won
Turn our golden faces into the sun
Praising our leaders we’re getting in tune
The music’s played by the madmen

Forever young, I want to be forever young
Do you really want to live forever, forever and ever

Some are like water, some are like the heat
Some are a melody and some are the beat
Sooner or later they all will be gone
Why don’t they stay young

It’s so hard to get old without a cause
I don’t want to perish like a fading horse
Youth is like diamonds in the sun
And dimonds are forever

So many adventures couldn’t happen today
So many songs we forgot to play
So many dreams are swinging out of the blue
We let them come true

Why does it sound funny to you Craig? It could mean that they didn't happen to do drugs that night. I know they have done them in the past.

Anonoymous - if you knew them very well, then what is your take on the toxicology report? The boys were at a large party at Oakland Camp, but they didn't drink? That would be unusual behavior for them, would it not?

Maybe they were there for a short time and didn't drink. Why would the reports lie. Don't get me wrong, I know they did drink and did do drugs occassionly.

Well how long dose pot stay in your system? If they smoked it occasonaly then you think there would be traces if they did it that night or 2 weeks ago right?

Anonymous & Jessie - I don't think the reports lied. I think it is entirely possible there were no illegal substances in their bloodstreams. The question is, why? While I did not really know the boys, I did know of them and from what I knew, I would say this is unusual. Maybe it is because they were not at the party long enough to drink enough for it to show up and/or they didn't stay long enough to be offered the opportunity to "smoke out" as Craig would say. I think that is kinda odd also. You go all the way from Keddie to Oakland Camp to party and then don't stay long enough to have a good time. Who did they go to that party with? Did they hitchhike out there?

Yes, Jesse I did. My son played with Tina on occasion. I knew some of the people at the Oakland Camp party. This was a horrific and very shocking event. The Idaho murders brought it all back. I guess that's why I went looking for a place to express my sadness and frustration.

I would be very interested to know just who Duncan spent time in jail with!?!

Anon - the Groene/Idaho thing is how I stumbled upon this site. I thought it was interesting that you brought this up.

I read what Jesse said to one of my posts (thanks Jesse). I still wonder if it was random. Kinda like a stalking thing. Like what Duncan did or like BTK.

Sometimes I think I watch too much forensic files !!!!

Jesse - I didn't live in Keddie - I lived in Quincy and I left in 1984. I do still visit at least once a year because I have family there.

I did a little research and found this info. In frequent users blood test can detect THC for up to 4 - 8 hrs after. And blood tests can detect 9-carboxy-THC up to 2 weeks or more after use. In infrequent users blood tests can detect THC up to 3 - 4 hrs after. Blood tests detect 9-carboxy-THC for up to 2 - 3 days after use. Urine tests detect 9-carboxy-THC. In frequent users urine can detect up to 2weeks up to a month. Now mind you the more frequent the user the longer it takes to leave the system. Extremely heavy users it can take 3 months. Infrequent users it can take up to 10 days. I found that on this site http://www.goaskalice.columbia.edu/1034.html.

So depending on which test they used and what chemicals they were looking for COULD explain why the boys came back clean. It was over 20 yrs ago and I'm not even sure when they started testing for 9-carboxy-THC. And also keep in mind the THC levels in pot weren't nearly as strong as now. And I'd guess being teens and not having a whole lot to spend on pot they probably wasn't getting the best stuff.

Also they probably did blood test not urine tests so it would only show if they had smoked anything only HOURS before their murders. Thats only if they were testing for THC and couldn't test for 9-carboxy-THC

Just tossing out my 2 cents worth.

Hope this helps

Good work. Yeah, it probably was from blood tests. A little more research needs to be done to determine what tests were used. Anonymous
