Mr Craig I have spent some time looking at the photos of the victims on this website and I still can not fit any kind of “Drug theft” into my head …. So can you enlighten us with your theories

I see a photo of Johnny Sharp who seems to be vary proud and out going by his photo

I see a photo of young but shy Tina Sharp

I see a photo of Sue Sharp ,a photo most likely taken when she was in the middle of caring for her family , like returning from the store ….. You can tell they where hard workers in that photo … look how shinny and clean the truck is, and it was winter yet.. You know how hard it is to keep a truck clean in the winter.

I still think it was something as simple as words said to the wrong person at the wrong time ……

Mr. Craig that sounds vary heartless … you can look at your friends photos and say they stole drugs just like that … with not telling us how it went down

Just that we should believe the rumors about a drug rip off … where should the rumors stop

How about the one about a son of a famous man , who suffered humiliation … should that be included or how about bad cops and railroad killers?

Ok .. How about this fact …. Most young boys get them self’s in trouble with their mouth

The truck in Sues photo is vary clean and its winter because of the grass is dead .. Sue even has a crease in her paints …. I would say she was a hard worker … compared to most all of the ladies I know.

Would you like me to bring over a post from a Yahoo group made by Al F. about a month ago?

Al .F said … most guys don’t wish to mix this up with what they enjoy ( like their hobbies )… you know what its like over time… you become your job … its just what you are ….. Vary few guys are born with a lantern in their hand.

I have a hard time believing that a young man just out on his own, and just hit the legal drinking age would have stayed home on a weekend night… laying too low would have sent red flags up , if you did something wrong.

A young man at that age with a car , most likely would have been out on the town or off to Reno as many still do … from those parts.

Where dose the truth lie?

When faced with any kind of text , We ought to ask ourselves the question
( is the author telling us the truth ???)

Is he mistaken?

Is he trying to mislead us?

Try to work out your own opinion… it doesn’t have to be my way ….. But until I see something that would lead me to believe their was any kind of Drug rip off … I wouldn’t believe it, it just doesn’t feel correct.

Just like, I don’t see the boys opportunity ….. Maybe I am just thick headed … people do tell me I am thickheaded and I don’t care

I was just thinking about the boot prints … in the late 1970s and into the 80s you would have been seen as a rebel to where combat boots … the war was still fresh in peoples minds , most guys who had to where them … just didn’t after they came back from the Vietnam war.

I would think some who saw him self more the rebel , would be a part of something like the murders before anything else

Craig - are you sure it was behind the church and not across the street from the church. I remember the house across the street and had it pegged for the place.

You can recall so much stuff from 1981 but nothing that could do the families any good … kind of strange isn’t it ?

First Baptist Church of Quincy
74 Reese Street
Quincy, CA 95971

I'm familiar with this church as my friends dad used to Pastor it in 83-84 (I think, I moved in 84 so he may have pastored it longer than that).

I also used to babysit accross the street in a green duplex.

I'm sure there was probably a yellow house in the area. I had a friend that lived on 2nd street and one that lived on 4th. Both of which are behind Reese. I could walk you to there houses to this day. Just me...but I would think if I drove someone to a house to do something as STUPID as rip off drugs, I would be able to give directions right to it, even 24 years later.

P.S. East Quincy is anything on the other side of Cemetary hill...

Maybe, maybe not. There are some things in your life that you would like to forget. Also, maybe he didn't park close enough to the house to remember exactly which one it was. there are lots of funny statements in this case, this is far from the only one.
I went looking for an old sawmill in Amador County a few months ago. I thought I remembered the exact route that I had taken in 1976 and about 1984. I'm still looking.

Granted, things change...not Quincy so much though. Reese street dead ends at someone's house. I used to know the people that lived in that house also. If he drove by it everyday on his bike like he stated, then he should remember in his minds eye how to do it. I could tell you how to get all around Quincy on a bicycle as that and my roller skates were my only form of transportation. I can understand not knowing street names. I had to look up the church to remember the name, but as soon as I saw it, I knew that was it. I could even tell you how to get there.

After he drove up Reese Street, did he turn left or right? Did he go up 3 blocks and hang another right? These are the details people are looking for.

I'm sorry Craig, I've read to many of your post where you go into great detail to believe the "I can't remember" song.

I don't live there anymore either, havent since 1984 and only been back less than 1/2 a dozens times since. But I could probably tell you how to get to the Masonic Temple (which used to be accross from the Library) without using street names.

There is this really cool site now call mapquest...maybe you could get on there and retrace your steps. Then we could find out where the drug ripoff took place.
