Hello Everyone,
I keep trying to make it up to Keddie (approximately 3 hours from my house). I was going to go tomorrow but some obligation always comes up preventing my trip.
Anyway, what do you all think? Will what remains of Keddie be there much longer? How many cabins have thus far been demolished? I'm sure if I don't make it up there soon, the weather won't be so accomodating and I'll have to wait till late spring.
Is Keddie still for sale? Any talk of future plans for the place?

TodayI received a phone
call about decedents of Author Keddie who the town is named for …. I will
try to see if they have any old photos ,strangely it just so happens one
of his decedents is a Church leader that a family member of mine goes to.

There are still many cabins left standing, so far about 10 have been taken down. The dorm and the lodge still stand but are closed to the public. Someone that lives there said that renovations were in progress, but I think he was just blowing smoke. All but a couple of cabin are very run down, there is a lot of work that needs to be done. I think the potential is there for a new owner, if that ever happens. The last couple deals fell through and I believe it is still for sale.

I didn't say it was sold.
I ment that I think if the resort was given a fresh coat of paint and the
rest of the cabins that that need to be bulldozed and rebuild, it could be
a nice place to visit again. The area is beautiful and with some TLC some
of the existing buildings could be resort material.
